#JyoAchyutananda : Brotherhood redefined!

4

#JyoAchyutananda is about two brothers, Achyuth Rama Rao and Anand Vardhan Rao, who fall in love with the same girl, Jyotsna. Achyuth, played by #NaaraRohith, is the elder one and Anand, played by #NagaShaurya, is the younger one.

Wait… Does this sound like a remake of some Bollywood movie??? #Saajan. Nooooooooo…….

Jyotsna, played by #ReginaCassandra, is their tenant and these boys are trying to woo her in every possible manner. In an attempt to please the girl and win her love, Achyuth and Anand mess up a lot of things. Including their own bromance too.

Then Jyo leaves for the US and then the boys move on in their life.

What happens after that? Do the wives get to know about their Jyotsna kaanda?? How do the Anna Thammudu unite again?? What happens to Jyo?? is the story all about….

Director #SrinivasAvasarala has this unique style of integrating poetic feel to his narration and he has done that yet again. The first 15 mins is narrated in a blame-game way.. The boys portray each other as the culprit in front of their own wives when the wives get a hint of Jyo. When they fall in the trap of their own lies, then starts trouble.

#NagaShaurya is absolutely convincing as Anand. He is cute with boy next door looks and is a major contributor to the movie’s success. #NaaraRohith worked very hard to portray the role of Ahcyuth and it is quite visible. He has done every bit to portray the egoistic, cunning and yet loving elder brother. But at a lot of points we felt that Shaurya dominated Rohith.

#ReginaCassandra has done a decent job and her styling looks good throughout the movie. Actress Seetha plays the mother of the two boys and somewhere we feel didn’t have much screen time.

Tanikella Bharani plays Jyo’s father and has played it with ease as always…Again, both Seetha & Mr Bharani are under utilized is what I felt.

The music of the film composed by #KalyanaRamana is very soothing and refreshing. The BGM of the movie sets a very good mood to the movie.

The movie has subtle comedy. Cracks the audience into laughter throughout. The one liners penned by #SrinivasAvasarala are the key factors in the movie.

The end of first half looked promising and we expected an exciting second half but the second half……….. You know what I mean!!! Things slowed down towards the end.

Screenplay falls apart in the second half. At one point you would feel if you are watching another movie altogether. Shourya’s and Rohith’s role has been penned to perfection but Regina’s characterisation in the second half is very shaky. One fails to relate to what is going on in the movie.

The brothers chemistry added depth to the movie. Cinematography and editing were just perfect. This talks about the care and caution undertaken. Fantastic climax with emotions in the right proportion makes you walk out of the theatres with a feel good factor. Shaurya has stolen the moment and was remarkable. He for sure is gonna go a longgg way!!!

Spoiler Alert : The surprise package in the movie is Nani’s cameo in the climax.. one would not stop from dropping their jaws when he is seen on the screen…

Watch this movie for #SrinivasAvasarala. He for sure deserves an applause for his narration, simplicity in execution and his wittiness. Watch this movie for Shaurya and Rohith.. you would see them grow as actors.
